Marina de Knar was newly completed in 2015 following a major relocation of the marina. The new location (near the aqueduct between the Wolderwijd and the Veluwemeer) is situated directly on the waterway.
During the boating season, Marina de Knar is an excellent mooring spot for visitors. From the marina, you can cycle to the center of Harderwijk or the Dolfinarium in just a few minutes. Bicycles are available at the marina.
All modern amenities are available at the marina: electricity and water on the jetties, shower and toilet facilities in the clubhouse "De Kop van de Knar", and toilet facilities in the harbor building (harbor office).
Clubhouse "De Kop van de Knar" features an excellent restaurant with a bar. On the adjacent terrace, you can enjoy a fresh cup of coffee, a refreshing drink, or dinner. The marina has a small bay where you can swim and moor surfboards and small open sailboats. It is an excellent place for children to play and swim.
