The Strokelbos is a beautiful, wooded walking area where dogs are allowed to run free all year round. Animals are allowed off-leash from the Plaggenweg to Animal Shelter De Ark. Several walking routes of varying lengths have been marked out in the forest. The water bowls located here are actually intended for the wildlife that roams the area, but dogs naturally love them too. The forest lies partly along the Leuvenemseweg, but a fence has largely been placed along the road so that you can walk here safely.
You can park (for free) in the parking lot at the end of Plaggenweg.
