Veluvia - Restaurant en meer boasts the most beautifully situated terrace in Harderwijk, overlooking the old fishing harbor and, on the other side, windmill De Hoop. The menu features plenty of fish, including house-smoked salmon.
At Veluvia, you can rent a Stormer sloop to sail yourself through the old harbor, along the Waterfront, and across the lake, for example to moor at one of the small islands. Reservations are recommended. Book a Tasting with delicious snacks along with your rental, and your day is sure to be perfect. During the summer season, Veluvia is also the boarding point for sightseeing tours. From Tuesday to Saturday, the saloon boat Jacoba sails at 1:30 PM, and at 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM subject to sufficient interest. Maximum 12 people. Registration for the tour is appreciated.
