Synagoge Harderwijk

On the way to KP 82, you can cycle under the Vischpoort and, after 100 meters, turn right into Kleine Marktstraat. After 50 meters, you will find the former Synagogue on the right. On the first floor, there is a four-meter-long memorial wall featuring photos of a number of Jews from Harderwijk and objects used within Jewish tradition. In 1995, a plaque was affixed to the Synagogue in memory of the murdered Jewish fellow citizens. The plaque reads in Hebrew: May their souls be bound in the bundle of eternal life. After this visit, cycle back and continue the route to KP 82.
